The Portland Timbers fell 2-1 to Austin FC on a late goal in stoppage time. Oleksandr Svatok scored on a rebound from a header that found the middle of the net in the 90+4th minute. Portland got on the board in the 89th minute on a penalty kick scored by Antony. Facundo Torres scored on a left-footed shot to the bottom right corner of the net in the 25th minute to give Austin an early advantage.
